Ascify-Art

This is a python based colored ASCII art generator for free!

How to Install?

You can download and use the python version if you want, modules will be automatically downloaded (PIL and matplotlib).
For basic windows users, you can just download and use the windows executable version from here
(Converted using Auto-Py-To-Exe Converter).

How to use?

• Click the OPEN button and choose your image file
• Then choose your desired font, size and characters you want to use
• Check the Export text option if you want to generate text file also with the main image
• Then simply click the CREATE button, the output image and text file will be saved in the same root diretory.
• If you want to ascify a sequence of images(to make a video), then just click the 🔃 button and choose the folder having the image sequence. Then click CREATE, the ascified image sequence will be saved in a new folder.
USEFUL TIP: Use my Vdo-Img-Conversion-Tools to convert your video to image sequence and also do the vice versa easily. It's a similar type of application made with Python(GUI).

This application is a modified version of raphsonite's ascii.py with some improvements and GUI, I hope it helps you to generate some good ASCII art. Thanks!
